Fabrix

Fabrix™ is an acoustic panel system designed with proprietary polymer tracks to create high-performance acoustic treatment solutions. Made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC), the system securely holds fabric acoustic panels and sound-absorbing substrates in place, ensuring superior acoustic design. Ideal for sustainable wall panels, acoustic ceiling tiles, and modern acoustic panels, Fabrix™ enhances sound control while maintaining a sleek, adaptable design for various architectural applications.

Features

A close-up of a white, rectangular plastic or metal extrusion with vertical grooves and a hollow interior, set against a light grey background.

Anti-Slip

The Anti-Slip feature allows adhesives applied to the back of the track to have higher pull-out strength, and prevents excess adhesive from seeping out at the sides.

Three white aluminum extrusions with an angular, geometric profile are arranged side by side on a reflective surface. Each extrusion appears to have a slightly different width but similar shape.

Anti-Warp

Fabric with high tensile strength can cause the tracks to warp during installation and leave an unsightly mark on the fabric. The Anti-Warp feature prevents imprinting the fabric surface.

Two white, rectangular extruded plastic or metal profiles are standing on a reflective surface. The profiles have angular, hollow interiors with various ridges and slots, likely for construction or industrial use.

Load & Snap

Fabric is secured using two methods: the Load Mechanism with serrated teeth to grip tightly, or the Snap Mechanism with a flexible hinge and adhesive tape for added hold.

Square

The Square Edge Load range secures fabric at perimeters with serrated teeth, offering anti-warp and anti-slip protection.

How Does Fabrix™ Acoustics Ceiling Tile Work?

Fabrix™ acoustic wall and ceiling systems enhance sound absorption through precision-engineered track solutions that secure acoustically transparent fabric with high-performance substrates such as mineral wool, rockwool, or acoustic felt. These systems improve speech clarity, reduce reverberation, and support better RT60 outcomes for comfortable, intelligible spaces in offices, education, hospitality, and other modern interiors. Designed for seamless architectural integration, Fabrix™ delivers a sleek, refined finish with flexible detailing across multiple track types and edge profiles. With sustainability at its core, Fabrix™ uses recycled UPVC tracks and emphasizes low-VOC, eco-conscious materials aligned with healthier indoor environments and green building goals.

Sound Absorption

In rooms with reflective surfaces and high ceilings, sound waves create echo and excessive reverberation that reduce speech clarity. Fabrix™ acoustic wall and ceiling systems are designed to absorb and manage sound effectively, helping to control noise levels, improve speech intelligibility, and create a more comfortable acoustic environment for offices, auditoriums, and large-format commercial spaces.

Designed for Architects

Effective acoustics should blend seamlessly with interior design. Fabrix™ acoustic wall and ceiling systems are available in a wide range of fabrics, colours, textures, and track-based detailing to suit modern offices and public spaces. These refined architectural solutions integrate high-performance sound control without disrupting the visual identity of the room, from concept to completion.

Warranty Guaranteed

High-use environments require acoustic systems that last. Fabrix™ acoustic wall and ceiling systems are engineered with durable, fire-safe, and eco-conscious components to deliver consistent sound control and long-term performance. Designed for demanding commercial and public spaces, Fabrix™ solutions support reliable acoustic comfort, refined finishes, and lasting confidence for clients and end users.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fabrix™ is a fabric acoustic panel system that uses proprietary UPVC polymer tracks to secure acoustically-transparent fabric and a sound-absorbing substrate. The tracks feature anti-warp and anti-slip design for secure, precise installation. Fabrix™ supports use as wall panels, ceiling tiles or full room acoustic treatment — combining performance, flexibility and aesthetic versatility.

Fabrix™ panels are suitable for many indoor spaces — including homes, offices, lecture theatres, meeting rooms, studios, hospitality venues and more. As wall panels or ceiling tiles, they help improve acoustics and are often chosen in Singapore projects for both commercial and residential applications.

When fitted with a 25 mm substrate, Fabrix™ achieves sound absorption measured at ASTM C423-09a = 0.75. This level indicates strong acoustic performance, reducing reverberation and improving speech clarity — important for clear communication in rooms like meeting spaces, studios or classrooms.

Yes. Fabrix™ panels are engineered with low-VOC materials, making them healthier for indoor air quality. The system’s fire-rated performance (EN 13501-1 Class B, s1 d0) and durable UPVC tracks ensure safe, long-lasting acoustic wall panel solutions suitable for local building regulations and humid climates.

Yes. Aural-Aid’s product range includes other systems such as polyester acoustic boards, baffle ceiling solutions, wood-based panels, and more. Fabrix™ can work in tandem with these — for example combining fabric wall panels with ceiling baffles or PET-board acoustic panels — to address different acoustic needs and design styles.
