Ligkt

Ligkt™ stretch ceiling is a non-flammable polymer sheet secured by patent-pending tracks. The system is made taut with applied heat during installation. The stretch ceiling membrane acts as a diffuser for LED lights installation, and can be made to achieve various designs such as 3D forms and organic non-planar surfaces. Ligkt™ also comes in micro-perforations of 0.1mm, 0.5mm and 1mm which acts as an acoustic ceiling to absorb echoes.

Ligkt™ stretch ceilings are ultra-thin, heat-stretched membranes that create a smooth, seamless finish with a modern look.

Microperforated V2.0/1.0/0.1

A graph showing absorption coefficient versus frequency for 50mm Rockwool (60kg/m³), with absorption rising from 0 at lower frequencies to around 1.0 between 315 Hz and 5000 Hz.

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membrane feature 0.1mm holes, offering sound absorption and an elegant appearance.

Microperforated V4.0/2.0/0.2

A graph showing absorption coefficient versus frequency for 50mm Rockwool. The absorption coefficient rises sharply, peaks between 315 Hz and 1250 Hz, then gradually decreases, remaining above 0.7 up to 5000 Hz.

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membrane feature 0.2mm holes, offering sound absorption and an elegant appearance.

Microperforated V4.0/2.0/0.5

A graph shows absorption coefficient (α) versus 1/3 octave center frequency (Hz) for ISO 354 with 50mm Rockwool. The coefficient rises to about 0.8 around 315 Hz and stays high up to 5000 Hz.

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membrane feature 0.5mm holes, offering sound absorption and an elegant appearance.

Microperforated V5.0/2.5/1.0

A graph showing absorption coefficient versus 1/3 octave center frequency for 50mm rockwool. The absorption peaks above 1.0 between 315 Hz and 1250 Hz, then drops to about 0.4 at 5000 Hz.

Ligkt™ microperforated stretch membrane feature 1mm holes, offering sound absorption and an elegant appearance.

Project Highlight

Ligkt™ Printed Stretch Ceiling

Les Amis, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, features Ligkt™ stretch ceiling in its newly opened Magnum Room. The elliptical UV-printed ceiling showcases the Renaissance fresco The Oculus, where cherubs gaze over a balustrade into a serene sky. Softly backlit, this becomes a showpiece that elevates the private-dining experience.

How Does Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Work?

Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Systems enhance acoustic and visual performance with tensioned translucent films, precision-engineered tracks, and optional acoustic layers. These systems improve sound control, light diffusion, and overall comfort in any interior. Designed with modern architectural geometry, they elevate visual expression, resist moisture and mold, and deliver long-term functional benefits. As an innovation-driven company, Ligkt™ develops stretch ceiling solutions that balance acoustic performance, durability, and refined design excellence.

Sound Absorption

In rooms with reflective surfaces and high ceilings, sound waves create echo and excessive reverberation that reduce speech clarity. Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Systems are engineered to enhance acoustic control at the source, helping to reduce noise levels, improve sound quality, and create a more comfortable environment in offices, auditoriums, and commercial spaces.

Designed for Architects

Effective acoustics should blend seamlessly with interior design. Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Systems are offered in a wide range of translucent finishes, shapes, and installation styles to suit modern offices and public spaces. These stretch ceilings integrate sound control without disrupting the visual identity of the room while enhancing lighting quality and ambiance throughout.

Warranty Guaranteed

Demanding, high-use spaces need ceiling solutions built for longevity. Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Systems use durable, fire-rated, and environmentally responsible materials to ensure dependable acoustic and lighting performance. Backed by strong warranty coverage, they offer lasting stability, aesthetic improvement, and confidence for customers across diverse projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ligkt™ Stretch Membrane Ceiling Systems are designed to enhance acoustic comfort, diffuse lighting evenly, and improve visual ambience in offices, auditoriums, hospitality venues, galleries, and commercial interiors. They also provide moisture resistance, long-term stability, and excellent fire-rated performance for modern architectural environments.

Stretch membrane ceilings use tensioned PVC or polyester films that allow seamless surfaces, backlighting integration, and advanced acoustic treatments. Traditional ceilings like gypsum or mineral tiles are rigid, less customizable, and cannot achieve the same visual smoothness or lighting effects offered by stretch membrane systems.

Perforated gypsum ceiling systems control sound by allowing sound waves to pass through perforations into acoustic backing, reducing reverberation while maintaining a clean, seamless ceiling appearance.Stretch membranes improve acoustics by combining perforated film surfaces with acoustic backings that absorb and diffuse sound energy. This reduces echo, minimizes reverberation, and enhances speech clarity in high-ceiling or reflective environments such as offices, meeting rooms, and public spaces.

Yes. Their lightweight construction, seamless appearance, and advanced acoustic and lighting capabilities make them ideal for offices, retail interiors, hotels, restaurants, education spaces, and public venues requiring modern performance and premium aesthetics.

Yes. Stretch membranes can be customized in color, transparency, perforation style, shape, printing design, and lighting integration. This allows designers to achieve specific acoustic goals and create striking visual statements tailored to any architectural concept.
